Easily one of my favourites from the show.

Roger

This knife is spectacular! What kind of wood is it?

Mark

hey Joe, what do you think about the flared handle?

just screwin around with the drawing. It's gonna be awesome no matter what.

Joe, I'm really touched that you'd use your place on the list to present me with my dream Foster knife - and my birthday coming up in June, too! I promise I'll try and act surprised!!!

Remember Burt, I'm left handed, and prefer just a pinch more drop at the hip for my sheaths... ; )

Thanks guys

Lorien looks good . Burt knows my hand size and I am sure he will work it till it feels right

Mark, the wood is spalted "chruch" maple - at least that's what I call it. They took out this old maple tree that grew in front of the first Catholic church built here in Bristol, VA, and I took off a bunch of burl. When it'd dyed (just a little) and stabilized, it's incredible.

Roger, Burt, thanks. Everything about this knife is incredible - I just keep coming back to see it!

Most excellent. I think Thor's fighter launched more than a few orders. I have one as well - with a slightly longer blade - due at the Blade Show. I look forward to seeing yours complete.

Roger

Copycats!

Just joking :D

Glad that people liked it so much they wanted something similar.

Burt,
You are still holding on to a piece of that Church wood for the matching dagger for me, right?
