Lately it seems to be the cool thing to do, to post a zillion pictures of your Rat Daddy in the wrong section of the forums. So, in following with the trend, here are some pics of my recent camping trip to High Point State Park in NJ. Along with me was my Father, my son Jack, my older brother (and his RMD) and my nephew Zachary. Apparently a tornado touched down in the tri-state area, and we felt the wind and rain from it Saturday night.

Oooohhh yeah! :thumbup: :D I definitely took this one off the safe queen market. This bad boy has trumped my NMFBMLE... I dont care what anyone says. Its quicker, lighter, more manageable and has yet to glance off a log and almost take my leg off like my 4" thick, 82lb BM

It was great. I always have to pack 82 pairs of pants for my son (the little guy) and 9 pairs of shoes 'cause he manages to fall in the water every ten minutes. I cooked 3 whole chicken breasts over the fire and when I turned around he had them all strung up and in the water to "feed the snapping turtles". I couldn't be mad.

North Jersey has some of the best geography you can find, minutes away from NYC. Especially in Sussex county, which is the northern most county in the state. We have glacial lakes, a portion of the Appalachian trail, mountains, valleys, trout filled water and miles of untouched forest. High Point State Park, is particularly awesome. Its the highest point in the state.
