My name is John and I have a problem....

Newpics022-2.jpg

LOL, let me guess. The first one is your belt knife and you stow all the others in your pack as a backup??? ;) :D :D :D

LOL that;s pretty much it.. one on the person one in the bag the others stay at home as spares...

I've been addicted to Moras for the past 5 years

I didn;t think pics of my fabrege egg addicition will be as well recieved

I would have preferred to see the Faberge Egg collection......

I much prefer to have one or two quality knives and resharpen them when need be as opposed to own 20 plastic disposable knives... :p

Call me when you have a chance.

1 or 2 quality knives??? who are you kidding? I bet you have more customs than I do moras..LOL

I've almost have my knife addiction under control these days, but moras are hard to quit! Luckily there cheap, or maybe because there cheap? Of the top of my head I have a 780, 760, carbon clipper, tradesman, s1& s2, carbon 1&2....510, 511, 521, 711, Topq, hq carbon, full curve carving knife and the wood handle sheeps foot (can't remember the name or #) and even though the companion series is basically the topQ in other colors...I'm wanting on in green...or orange...or both :D

Speaking of the companion series moras, is the sheath retention as good on them as the top quality? My topq has the best sheath of all my moras IMO, the hq carbon has the same sheath but the handle is just a little smaller so the retention isn't quite as good.

What is the difference between the Companion and the Craftline Allround (is this this also called the TopQ?)?

the high q a thinner blade and profile.. THe companion is the same dimensions as the older clipper or 740 but the tang is 3/4 as apposed to 1/4 the carbon companions are thin like.078 or something like that, the blade lenght is the same as the topq
the stainless companions are just like the the top q all around with the thicker blade and finished spine.
I;ve found sheath retention to be good.

I don't see a problem. :D One of the fun things about Mora knives is giving them away. People love them and replacements are cheap.

Forced patina on a Mora 511. This one is going to be given away in a contest.

The Top Q is one of their best SS knives in my view and it was given away. Darn I need to buy a new one.

Gave this SS Clipper to a buddy. I added a paracord wrap and Velcro. The new Clippers have better sheaths.

The 911 is real nice but not sure if they still make it.

A simple kydex sheath I made for the Clippers.

Speaking of Clippers I like them in Carbon.

Of all the synthetic Mora knives and I have a good number the 711/746 green are best for me. The handle is very comfortable, tang long and blade thicker than the older Clipper. Just the sheath isn't the best.

The Bushcraft Triflex is nice. Flying sharp but I am not certain it is better than a 911. A good knife for the money just the same.

Faberge Eggs hmmm? Well that explains a lot bro.
Nice collection John. I used to have that many...now I just have a new Triflex and 3 510's, and some old KJ Eriksson kayakers.

Did'nt see any exactly like this either.
