  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

My name is Vince..and I have a Problem. My BK11

Thank you much for the kind welcome...but I'm starting to dislike you guys already...I started glancing (staring, drooling) at the 9 due to some suggestions. The next thing I know I'm putting in my PayPal info and placing an order. I didn't even get the damn 2 that I ordered yet lol. I know you have heard this before but, " after I get my 2, 9 and 17 when available, that's it for me. I know when to stop..I am in control". Its true..buying a knife makes you feel better about buying a knife!

I don't wanna live in a van down by the river lmao..but if my wife finds out I'm gonna be living in my truck again for a day or two..don't ask lol. Now..where to hide my new stuff?

That's right Vince, you're in complete control.......by the way, the BK5 is unlike any knife you've ever used. It's an incredible camp blade.

Unscrew the bulbs in the basement and keep em down there, put a spiderweb up nearby, it'll be safe.

It is an addiction like no other. Sit and stay a while, glad to have you here

I would say to turn around and run while you still can, but it seems like it is too late for you...welcome to the dark side:D

Bk5. Tis the best. And sharpest btw. Enough said.

Dont forget to invest in a set of micarta grips for the BK-11.
You'll fall in love all over again for that Becker Necker.

Yeah its too late for me deadfall27..I see that already. My limit changed from 3 to 4, and now its 5. That bk5 is really nice tradewater and clich...tempting lol. Hopefully I can control myself and stop at the bk17 when it comes out (April?). As for the micarta scales..that is a must as well as a kydex sheath. As for now I have to buy my wife some shoes she's been asking for..she'll know its a trick..but I have to try. I'm hooked...and she's gonna find out, she always does... arkanian I'm gonna hide them behind my dogs cage, she won't look there lol

welcome man, some real cool and talented people on here. i've gotten so many ideas on custom setups from reading and seeing other peoples threads. my BK2 is my first Becker have an 11 in my sights and already planning on getting a 5..i'm trying to sell the idea to my wife that she can use the 5 in the kitchen too :)

I too have joined the becker revolution...........BK14, BK2 and soon to be added to the brood is a BK7 or BK9 not sure as to which one i will get.....still reading posts and doing research.

I don't even know why I fight the impulses to buy anymore. I know I'm just going to do it in the end. A 14 has been calling my name for a while now. This thread isn't helping me to ignore it much. Then I suppose I'll need to get some scales for it, oh and upgrade the sheath... and... damn it.

I'm very impressed with the quality of the bk11 right out the box. I also did a lot of reading and this forum has the best info as well as a great group of members who are eager to help and pass on info... I have also noticed that for some reason the bk11 automatically entitles you to buy a bk2 ( or vice versa), which is what I ended up doing. Once that happens its too late and the seduction begins lol. I have already planned on some jimping and considering patina due to seeing several unique examples here. I can't wait to get my hands on a tweener though..patience is a virtue. It doesn't make sense resiting as zombizon said..resistance is futile lol. The way I figure it..if I bring lunch to work instead of buying lunch..that should fund my new found addiction..I'm just saying ;)

LOL! Just you wait buddy. My garage is now filled with bottles and cans that I take to recycling centers now so I can call it 'bonus money' and feel no guilt buying new knives with said monies.

Speaking of, new thread idea!

Don't laugh...right now I'm sitting here helping my wife organize her Avon sales and items and even offered to help her deliver them...for a fee of course. This may be my new side job depending how much I make lmao!
