Hey guys,
Here is my take on a Nessmuck trio. What do you think?
First up, my small fixed blade, a steel warrior skinner.

Next is my BIG knife, my Chris reeve Project I.

Last but not least, a SAK huntsman!

Now, all of them!

What do you all think?

Good choices. If I lived near Iowa, we'd be watching Devil's Rejects and playing with blades right about now

Steel Warrior is a unsung quality knife IMO. They're made in China, but well made.

I was just about to ask what everyone thought about the Steel Warriors. I thought about getting one more than once.

Well Dylan, if you want my opinion. If I was stranded out in the Wild with the steel warrior and my Project I, I would trust my life in their hands.

They're a Frost Brand (Steel Warrior). One of the really good ones like Rough Rider. Both brands are good. There is a website I've seen comparing case pocketknives to Steel Warrior, and the SW's fit and finish easily beats the case.

I'm not really sure you could call that a "Nessmuk" trio given the absence of a dedicated chopper. It seems like there's not much the larger knife could do that the smaller knife couldn't, whereas in the Nessmuk trio each tool has its own quite well defined tasks that the other tools are not well suited to.

I think you need a few Iron Maiden (Killers) and Alice Cooper (Billion Dollar Babies) titles to go with your knives!

I like it, the handle doesn't bother me at all! Also, the Project I is my chopper. I get what you are saying, but I like the SAK or Skinner for detail work, as the Project is not as comfortable.

Cool blades there aceofblades!! If it works for you is all that matters. Might have to get me one of those steel warriors.
