How do you like the way it handles?

Does the latch openings work ok with the bridge they made?

Latch openings are fine and don't feel any different than my other bali's. It handles UNBELIEVABLE and is soooo smooth and sweet. I just need to get some militec-1, within the first few hours the hinge pins started squeaking and within the first 10 minutes the latch pin starts to squeak. Other than those it's perfect, don't see anything wrong with the handles (discoloration or unroundness of holes). It is longer than all of the rest of my "9 inchers": Tanto MGC, classic rostfrei, wave rostfrei, all silver Jag, and of course my 7.5" MGC. All of my other balis are HUGE POS's. Pure sweetness. "Like sweet, sweet, candy".

Just got notification mine should arrive tomorrow. i don't think the news is deserving of me posting a new message, but I mention it here to help people out. If you ordered from NWC, find out yer number. Two weeks ago they sent out a friends who was 19 on their list, today they sent mine, number 70 on their list. That might help you figure out your position in the que without bugging Leslie more. have fun with the new toy bud, i know i will tomorrow!

Update: Just walked home, and found the box my girlfreind signed for. Its opened, and its fun. The fit and finish concerns are true, even in what is obviously a regular production run. Given a year, and hopefully that will improve. Also, they're right: the sheath doesn't fit so well. Time for custom concealex! Have fun guy's (and girl's)!

This thing was made to be manipulated, it loves to finger twirl, do some arials, anything and everything!! The handles felt cheap for about 3 seconds, then I was off flippin it around the house, they are noticeably lighter than all the rest, it is soooooo sweet. My other bali's do feel heavy and clunky (esp the Jag). Just need to stop the squeaking.

Also, let me fix something I wrote before: a lot of the smaller holes (that come in pairs) are NOT round, the majority of them are misshapen, not really a problem while manipulating it.
