My new addiction

Polishing G-10 is hazardous and not something we would want to do daily, but I wouldn't say we would never do another run of polished scales in the future.

That is very good news. Hows 'bout a run of smooth polished G10 Bumps then, possibly with hand rubbed ATS 34 blades ;)

Damned if you and damned if you don't.

Otherwise know as just another day on the Kershaw forums, eh Thomas? ;)

You know, looking at the mini task I think it would make a nice little fixed blade. I have no idea why, but I have been looking for a nice little fixed blade for pocket use, the mini looks like it could be made as a good looking fixed blade.

Nice knives, and I like the polished g10 very much myself, hope we see more some point in the future.

I have been thinking about pocket fixed blades lately too. I think Kershaw should really consider making one.

You guys mean something like this lil bugger??:D This is my Bark River Blackwater Boot Knife, shown next to my, you guessed it;) polished G-10 Leek for size comparison. This little pocket fixed blad is one of my favorite knives. A great little blade made of Swedish 12C27 stainless and a nice black linen Micarta handle.

I think something like this in polished G-10 with the Kershaw name on it would be suh-weet!!!

Cheers,
Jon

It's a shame that we will likely never get polished G10 Kershaws again. I have found myself drawn to them lately.

Very nice collection. Have you found your Ricochet yet?

Classy! However, polishing G-10 is safe with the proper breathing operatus though. or at least I think that's the case.......
Shouldn't be any worse than working with fiberglass, with the right equipment (apparel, exhaust, filters).

I have a Ricochet. It has a little slop in the blade action, but, I picked it up for a song... so I don't feel too bad about it. It will be headed off to Kershaw soon to see if one of their guys can dial it in. I didn't have much luck working on it myself:(

I suspect they will get it all lined out:thumbup:

Congrats! I hope I get as lucky and find one, too.
