This is the best knife I ever had for everyday use. My first kat knife has too narrow of a blade, the shrimp knife doesn't have a good point (you guys were right, it should be higher). This knife seems to be absolutely perfect. My pathfinder and this knife is all I really need. I even decided I like orange because I read that orange helps people be cheerful. If you were lost, it would be nice to have something to help cheer you up...

I knew Bryan had been working on it, I even helped a little. I drilled the holes in the handle, not in the G-10 but in the tang part....Anyway I came home from work last wednesday and there it was propped up on quackers the duck. I fell in love with it. It stayed right by me as I slept that night (on the night stand that is).

We went for walk today and I took this kat knife and my pathfinder. I made a fuzz stick and tried using each one and the kat knife was easier for me.
Bryan said it was because the blade is thinner. The pathfinder is better for splitting, so they make a good pair..

As you can see this is not the original kat knife handle, this is kgd's design and I love it too. It is very comfortable....Thanks kgd.

It is 6 1/4 inches long overall. The blade is almost 2 1/2 and the handle is almost 4 inches. I really wanted the blade a little longer and handle a little shorter but its working well for me so far.....

very nice Kathy.. that's a cool looking little knife... i love the handles..:D

Nice work Kathy (and Bryan;)):thumbup::thumbup:
Short blades are great tools when attached to a "whole" handle.
I have had a number of small knives which would have been a full-fledged working tool had the handles been a half inch longer. Most of them worked OK in a pinch but would have been a lot better with a handle that would allow you to make full use of the blade.

That looks fantastic. I see what you mean, with that and a Pathfinder what else would you need?

Of course there are a few more I would want but I digress.
Great design KGD, great looking work Bryan.

Another Beauty.......but then again I haven't seen anything short of awesome that Bryan has made, or I should say both of you have made.

Kelly Girl is probably the one that does most of the design work when she's not modeling in her shades!

Hi all,
Thanks for kind comments on the knife I made for Kathy. When kgd sent me his drawing for the Big Paw knife he wanted to have made. I was shoeing Kathy his drawing
That is the handle I want on my new knife she tells me:eek:. I thinking what new knife:confused: LOL she never told me she wanted another one made.
Well she did right then and there. so a couple of weeks went by and I was able to get to it. It really carves up the fuzz sticks nice and I did see here batton a small round of walnut when we were sitting by a little campfire we made while on our hike yesterday.
So with here Pathfinder in her pack and her Little Paw knife on here belt she seems good to go in the knife department. LOL

LOL thundermoon that is a good one.

Totaly agree Jeff if the handle is not full size yuck LOL little handles will work but give me a full size anyday of the week.

Thanks again all,

Bryan
