My New Buck

Thanks 300. I had read findings from respected Buck collectors which spoke of these early Camillus made 301's with scale rivets and no model numbers. DM

Schrade made the first Stockman patterns, never listing a model #. When Camillus took over there still wasn't a model # assigned, until late 1971. This was the third version of the stockman that Camillus produced. There are two other versions without model #'s, that Camillus produced. Schrade made two versions as well.
 
Sorry for the quick pics, But here is a First version Camillus contract stockman, note the handle pins, no model # and no spacer, in addition to all of the other details that make this a Camillus made knife, ie deep appearing nail nik, grind that stops before the nail nik on the top of the blade, and small scale pins.
