My new Case/Bose Dog Leg Jack

A great looking Dog Leg Jack for sure....That Antique Bone makes for a nice clean look and feel...

Sunburst

Mine arrived, lovely stag, great swedges on the blades
needed to be sharpened up to 'my' standards but other than
that, it walks and talks perfectly,

I noticed you have it for sale already, not what you expected?

I got mine today too, I like it a lot. :D

Scdreger, was going to email you but you don't have it listed,
I took some shots of the knife and decided it grew on me and
I'm hanging onto her, sweet knife here are some images taken :)

Yep :) she'll replace this one shown in this Thread
also a nice knife but much larger and the smaller blade
is rugged to open and the main blade is a bit too large
so that one will be retired for now and this will be carried in her place.
:)

As I mentioned to you privately, Gary, I think you made a wise decision. Congrats.

Wow,
You are raising my expectations in a case knife. At the same time you are lowering my bank account! Thanks for the nice pics, diggin the swedges.

Great images Gary! I know you'll like carrying that one.

Hey Gary,

Glad you're keeping her. For one, I am sure you'll be glad you did, as that is one beautiful knife, and secondly now I can stop trying to justify buying yours as a stag version of mine. :D

P.S. Mine came shavin, and paper pushin sharp, especially the pen blade. I won't touch mine up till necessary.

You're welcome Scott ;)
Wish mine arrived as sharp, wasn't the case, no pun intended :)
But both blades are up to snuff now, so no problem!

Hey....this thread was about MY knife.....MINE!

I'm kidding of course..... :D

I like yours as well Gary.

LOL, ok ok ok, sorry yes, it's all about you

For some reason, the thought ran thru my mind that Gary is about the hack those sweet little caroling cartoon squirrels with that dogleg jack. Like Frosty the Snowman, I can't bare to watch  :D

Since we are talking about your knife now <sigh> :D I have a question. Are you going to pocket carry this one or make a belt sheath for it? If you make a sheath, I'd sure like to see it as mine rides a bit heavy in my pocket.

hehe, man I really didn't mean to hijack, just wanted to share instead of making
a whole new post, this way your thread gets more views too :)

and I do intend to make a sheath asap! with the way the blades bulge out it will
be a retaining rascal no doubt!
BUT, I'll make a new thread when that is finished, most likely in the Leather section
of the forums, I imagine that your knife and mine would have a similar fitting but
I prefer to use the actual knife as the sheaths are quite tight to the knife that will
ride in them.

ps, and Kerry, I set those fellas' in there for a bit of holiday cheer, but you never
know what may happen when you are totin' a DogLeg ! :)

Gary,

I look forward to seeing what you do in regards to a sheath. You always do great work.

I'm completely teasing about this thread. No "hijacking" has occurred. :)

Thanks, glad for that, didn't want to step in it!
Here is a thread started that also includes the sheath for the dogleg, wearing it
right now, but still need to do the edging and coating, later tonight
that will be wrapped up.

Thanks for being tolerant with me! :)

Hey Gary,

Email me at scdreger AT yahoo DOT com.
I am wondering how much a sheath for my dogleg jack would set me back.
They do right a bit big in the pockets don't they?
