I like carrying a combo of fixed blade and mutli-tool in the same sheath i.e. Spec-Ops.

I just got this one in this week and paired it up with a LM Juice. It's a CRK Shadow III with a modular Kydex Sheath and Maxpedition pouch. It's a nice compact package that will travel well.

nice rig there, i'd say it will work well

i wonder how it would carry on the hip though...it looks like it would stick out and get caught on stuff alot.

How are those Reeve Knives?

Unexcelled. Of the hundreds of knives I own, production and custom, my best knife is my Chris Reeve Sable III, the somewhat rare 4" version.

These knives are sharp and tough, easy to maintain, and for me, very comfortable to use. If the round handle of the One-Piece line doen't suit you, try it before you decide it doesn't. You can still go for the Reeve-Harsey collaborations like the Green Beret knives with their more conventional handles.

Unlike some piggybacked knives, this one looks very secure. Who made that sheath? It seems overbuilt which is a perfect pairing for the one piece line.

Very nice!

im not sure, but i have a couple of sheaths from piotr and this one looks very similar. He is located in Polan i believe

Here's the kydex makers site: http://pm.home.pl/gunsold/kydex_gal.html

He does some very nice, high quality work.

I'm the second owner of this rig (which I could not pass up) and was told it took a few months turn around.

Sure beats ranger banding a Leatherman to a sheath.

Sometimes Pitor has a few made-up and ready to ship. He is very responsive with email communications. Shipping from the Netherlands has unknown variables. Also, he is out in the bush often (R&D). When I ordered, he had to make mine up so there was a little added time. I've never seen a kydex sheath built this well.

That is beautiful. It's amazing the technology that has occurred and been developed in the knife industry. A little ingenuity, creativity, and good ol' fashioned "elbow grease" goes a long way. :)
