It’s finally here, and I couldn’t be happier. This is the LR.6, named after the callsign of a late friend of Ed from the Army. There are currently only 4 in existence, and one is a prototype which will never be sold, so I feel incredibly fortunate to own one. Ed is the extremely talented protege of Tom Mayo and just won Best New Knifemaker of the Year a few days ago at Blade Show 2018!

I think the Damascus Rain Drop from Vegas Forge looks absolutely stunning. Pics don’t do it justice.

Action is wicked, I can’t explain it. The lockup sound alone just screams precision.

So damn thin! A lot of customs that I’ve seen, especially titanium, seem to have thick, overbuilt handles. I am really, really digging the profile of this guy.

Can’t express enough how good this bad boy feels in hand.

Swag!
Congrats to Ed on being recognized at Blade Show and on producing this amazing knife. This is my first custom and I’m ecstatic. In a few years I’m sure knives like this will be in the secondary market for Mayo-ish prices, so I say grab em while you can.
Thank you, Mr. Cope!
