My New EDC Lots of Pics

I am squarely with the "carry it" crowd. Look how much more character a knife has when it has been time tested and shows the careful wear that someone that appreciates a nice knife gives it.

If you keep it perfect, likely you might pass it on to someone that is also afraid to use it, and it will just be a oddity, an example of a fine knife. But if you use it for a couple or three decades and pass it on to someone, it could be a real treasure for them.

I don't want museum pieces. I bought them with my money, for me. I want to enjoy them. So in the pocket they go!

Robert

Thanks for that quote midnight flyer. I have also been struggling with that notion of being afraid to use expensive knives.

I loved the pictures of that knife so much, that I just ordered one today. Should be here by friday!

Don't just carry it; carry it well. ;)

Thanks to you Buck fan I bought that same exact knife thanks to your great photography work on your knife. I just got mine today and it is already elevated to my favorite knife. I am intimidated by it as it already bit me in the thumb drawing blood. These are very sharp blades (the sharpest I have received out of the box so far).
Its also one of the nicest looking knives I own and I keep it on my pc table so I can admire its looks. Thanks again for turning me on to this knife. Its a classic!

I carry my best knifes most often. That particular pattern is my absolut favorit knife. Most economic to to carry a nice knife, it makes me anyway more satisfied in the moment and less prone to lust for new knifes. Sort off....

I am glad I could help you find a favorite. Mine is my favorite too. And will always be. I can't see another taking it's place. And yes it is sharp. The sharpest Case Knife I have gotten. I am glad you like it. I was concerned your stag might not look as nice as mine. Glad it does. Post some pictures of it. I would love to see it.

Buckfan- here is a link to my flickr page- I just uploaded 2 pictures. I got mine at Sooner State Knives, and my total came to $81 with shipping.

This knife hobby sure is addicting. I would like to get a toothpick and a muskrat in the same pattern (here I go again)...

Doesn't Buck put hollow grinds on some of their offerings?

I think your right Coonskinner, the bigger ones like the 110's? Some Pumas too now that I think of it.

The stag on that one is quite nice Bill. Only to get better with age.
Same with yours ps250. Very nice. I carried a 63032 for years. It's the perfect size and pattern stockman.

Great looking knife. They did a nice job with the stag.
Congrats!

I have the same pattern Case except in CV with amber bone. Yours looks infinitely better. Great pics. I think you should carry it.
