The blade is etched in vinegar for several days to obtain this finish. It's very tuff.
If you get a stain, you can use a wire wheel or steel wool on the blade. It will not harm this finish.

Blade Steel: 1095.
Grind: Flat.
Blade Length: 3 1/2" tip to choil.
Overall Length: 7 13/16".
Handle: Tiger Stripe Maple with Brass pins.
Sheath: Hand sewn leather sheath.
Filework on spine.
Includes a signed certificate of origin.

I'll have a couple more done next week. I'm trying different pins, file work, and stamping on the sheath. Also working on one with mosaic pins, desert ironwood scales, and a lanyard hole.

I working on one now for Chubbs with a lanyard hole, desert ironwood scales,and mosaic pins.

The next one already has copper pins (2) and tiger stripe. It's just set aside, waiting on the sheath.

After that, the next one is waiting until I can fire up the forge and do the heat treat. I can put a lanyard hole on it. But it's probably 3 weeks from being done. Email if you're interested and we'll talk pins, scales, and type of sheath.

This one was done by stock removal.
I've only done a couple of Kydex sheaths. Not enough practice yet. Maybe sometime in the future (6 mths. - year)
