My new EDC

Sounds intriguing. Would you make stock-removal versions for your customers for less-than-outrageous amounts of loot or does high price tag include the pains of finishing and heat-treatment?

If I knew where to get in flat stock, I might consider it. It would still cost more than O1, but not forging it would be great. Thing is, I have like 100 pounds of it, and only paid $.50 per pound. Flat stock is likely to be more like $20 per pound. I guess the main reason for charging a lot is to discourage people from being interested. ;) It is a pain to work with.

Steel: CPM M4

This was forged from 2" diameter round stock. The tang taper was forged in, and the blade has a deep, fine hollow grind. This is the first knife like this where I took the grind all the way to the spine. I like it. :)
Yes! I like it very much Phillip
Nice and clean  I always like the reverse tapering of your knife Phillip

That's a tough choice - getting a great deal on steel you don't want to use or getting an expensive deal on steel you could use.
