My New Favorite Folder Design Needs A Name

Gorgeous! Simple, clean, beautiful. How about the "Saguaro"? It's a type of cactus found in the southwest. The colors just remind me of the dessert, I guess.

Thanks Mike, I'm glad you like the knife. I'm going to make another one for Al. I might see you guys at the archery shoot in April.

Thanks all for the great suggestions so far. I'm really excited about this model. It will of course come in different handle materials as well as linerlock and framelock versions.

What do you guys think of "Visayan"? Is it too difficult to remember? It refers to the area in the Phillipines where I was born and also the dialect spoken there.

Ray, which dialect? How about "Baraw"?

Ray - Take an idea from Chris Reeve. Sebenza means Work in swahili. What about Work in Cebuano? The online translators that I can find usually give obra, buhat, or pagbuhat, depending on whether you want the noun or the verb. Ask your mother what word she would use for the noun or verb for work.

I'm lousy at naming things, but that knife looks very clean and crisp - I like it a bunch.

How about "Angel" because if an Angel carried a folder, I'm sure thats what it would look like.

Thanks guys for all the great suggestions. I always have a hard time naming knives but I finally have a name for this one.. The name of this knife is "Bella", for my wife because she just said so! Now I need to make a bunch of these.

if i had the money to have you make one of those for me i would call it a miracle lol i love it man

Yup, I suggested "baraw" up above which I think means "knife" in cebuano but I'm not certain.

Smart man, Ray. Smart man!!!

Good choice, Ray, you gotta keep momma happy!

Sorry I'm late putting in my 2¢, but I would have called it, "Money." Very nice.
