Mike, your Fieldsman II is about the nicest Barkie i have ever seen.
the only 'problem' with BRK is that they are producing such a large array of beautiful knives, that it is difficult to choose, esp. as all get great reviews.

Thanks Roland. That is a problem, they do make way to many nice knives to choose from. Because I can't afford to have them all, I'm just going to focus on the ASB versions for now.

I like that one . Looks like an idea canoeing, fishing blade.

This one should be a good all around knife. Having a hidden tang, it is very light. I still have 11 months until next hunting season, but this one may be my main hunting knife. Of course thats subject to change from day to day

I think you will be very happy if you get one. One nice thing, if you get one from a stocking dealer and you aren't happy with it, they will let you return it and exchange it for another model :thumbup: Even the dealers want you to be happy with their knives.
