My New folder line ?? good or Bad??

Look great to me Dan. What kind of prices would these be running. If I start working again, probably need to dress up a bit, and something like that would sure look better in my pocket than my endura(Though it'd be a while before I coudl afford one. :)

thanks u2

I don't think I can talk price here.:(
PM me and I can talk to you that way... :)

Rene swap Time? :)

Dan, to me it's masterful. I would have rounded the sharp handle edges and I wonder why the handle scales are not flush with the bolsters. It's gorgous and the picture quality is superb.

Very nice Greymaker. Being a folder maker myself I cannot help myself I am bias :)To show how peoples taste differ The things Rodger said he would have done different are the things I think set it apart. I like the scales not being flush witht he bolsters.

Roger
this is just the way I saw this one to be done.
that third eye thing I guess :D
the relieved bolsters/razed scales? I don't know, I just
like them that way from time to time and it gives
it some dimension and a heavier feel to it..with out being heave.
I do the same at times on my fixed blades.
also if you do happen to get a little shrinkage
you don't notice it as much.

yes Heatride thank you, that's what makes this knife would go round
thank you both.
:)

Looks really nice, Dan! At first I did a doubletake as I've never seen the "sunken bolsters" before, but the more I look at it the more I like it. The swell on the handle looks like it would make for a nice grip. The only thing I'm not crazy about - from a user perspective - is filework right where your thumb would go if you were choking up to do some fine cutting.
The blade is perfect - but we expect that from you! :)

Oh, and Rene is right, it's made for the wrong hand! :D

Think filework is there because that's where thumbg would go. It gives some extra grip. Least that's often reason I've seen said,a nd reason I like it there.

I like the knife allot. Most fine guns have raised wood to provide for humidity changes. I really think thats a good design too. Well done! I think it would be just as cool without filework or just a classic minimum of filework.

Very nice Dan. Sweet detail. Did I hear swap? I'll take the "righty" version you made for Rene by accident.;) :D ;)

Dan, I stand by my preliminary observation: it is masterful. Remember, I only said "I would have .....". That means nothing particular outside my own ways. Well done and I give weight to what you point out about wood swelling.

Roger

Thanks guys
Roger I know what you mean we all have differant tastes
thanks again guys..
:)

Mikey likey! I like that extended thumbstud -- looks easy to use without being too obtusive.
