sebs though nice have never really appealed to me & yes i have owned more than 1, i just gave my son one i have had for 7 or 8 yrs for his 18th b-day which he has wanted since i got it, always told him when he turned 18 it was his, but if he wouldnt have wanted it it woulda been gone a long time ago, dont get me wrong, great knives, great F&F, i just never saw what all the fuss was about as far as sebs go.
Congratulations on your new Hinderer family, but be careful... They ARE addictive!
My Gen I XM-18 upgraded with Gen II hardware. (Thanks again, Rick! :thumbup This one gets carried every day and still looks almost new. I love this folder!

I recently got my hands on a Gen III flipper also. (no images yet) Love the blue handles on yours, very nice! Mine has a black scale, but I have an extra green scale that I'll probably switch it out for to match the other.
...Like I said, Hinderers are addictive!! Enjoy yours, it is one tough folder!:thumbup:
That Hinderer, that colour...wow! I always thought XM-18s were a bit 'chunky' looking, and I know it's the same knife, but the yellow has a nice slimming effect on its profile. You say he made it for you; does that mean you chose the colour and whatever other details are negotiable? Anyways, congratulations!
