My New Insingo Adventure.

Thanks for the great write up. Of course I'm the Insingo's great fan(Small Micarta Insingo).

:DWhat, you didn't grow your own cucumbers?:D

Great write up and pics! I hd not really considered a small Insingo before as I was more of a large blade 21 or 25 guy, the blade shape just never really did it for me.
Now I find myself really wanting to try it out

I really had my reservations about the Insingo blade. I decided to bite the bullet and try it out. Now im not sure why I waited so long.

Always enjoy your write-ups. The Insingo does look like it'd be great in the kitchen.

Thanks man! I really try to provide some useful information for some that might be on the fence.

Thanks!! Sadly, these were store bought. My boys grew tomatoes, jalapenos, and banana peppers over the summer though!

The small is just awesome as a edc

It really is. I love this large, but sometimes really want to get back to a Small. It really was the perfect EDC size.

Me neither. Just found a great deal on one.
Should be here in a week or so. First time I've tried either the small sebenza or Insingo blade.
Can't wait, I've been on the fence about trying this combination for a long time

Congrats!!! It's going to be a great knife. I LOVE the small 21, and I love this Insingo. So I can bet that the combo you are getting is going to be the best all around EDC knife.

Had to take a trip to New Orleans the last few days. I missed carrying a knife with me. I HATE not having a knife on me. I must reach for it a few dozen times a day to it something!

I am now enjoying some time with it. Haha.

I decided to put the Lanyard back on. I like having the ability to use the lanyard to help remove the knife from my pocket. But.......I really hate that it is just in the way! Do any of you find it better with another type of lanyard. Say something like leather drawn through the lanyard pin holes?

Hey Gizler my friend! You saw my post a week ago asking about which Sebenza to buy and responded.

Well I was having a hard time holding back the purchase. Day after day I scour the forums, watched video reviews, and even trolled KnifeArt.com just to ogle at the CF version. Honestly hated the look of the Insingo when I first saw a Sebenza and I told myself that I will just get the regular clipped point version, but the last one week of trolling the internet has helped change my perspective on the Insingo, changed so much that I now find the regular clipped point to be boring. I am sure it is a great blade design but the Insingo is just much more interesting. The design of the Insingo makes it a better slicer from what I can tell and all of a sudden I wanted nothing but the Insingo.

Today, I finally broke down and ordered the small 21 with CF scale and Insingo blade from Knife Art. I had wanted a large but felt that a small would be better for EDC so I went with it. I would be selling some of my precious lights in CPF since I am starting to lose interests in flashlights, and with the money a large Insingo would be joining the small to make a pair.

One reason I so liked the Chris Reeve design is that it can be taken apart and cleaned. Considering how EDC knives resides in our pockets everyday, there will definitely be plenty of lint and whatnot in the knife and pivot. Ability to disassemble is what I look for in all my knives now. My Hinderer XM-18 and Spyderco PM2 could both be disassembled and that's what makes me happy.

Go with the small CF Insingo. I am sure you will like the little beauty bro!

What if you tried a looser tied lanyard that will fold down into your pocket instead of the tightly tied erection lanyard that comes on it. Forgive me if you're already doing this.

Hey Bud!! I had the same experience leading up to my Insingo Purchase. Before, I was very much no tinterested and then I found myself becoming more and more obsessed with getting one.

I really think that the next one will be a small. I might have to get a plain jane to match mine, but I am so tempted by the Knife art CF!!!!!

I might have to try that. This is how it typically sits right now.

Threads such as this is what led me to try out a CRK knife to begin with, in the standard, and insingo style both. The insingo blade shape is appearing on many of the custom slip joint knives I've noticed as well.

I've been keeping my small starbenza and insingo in the drawer together at night hoping I'll get a small starbenza insingo, but no luck so far.

Nice write up!
