My new JERRY FISK knife...

Jerry's engraving is really beautiful. One of these days he's gonna make one of these hunters without the divots and I'll be all over it... :D

that is one beautiful knife.
did the maker also make the steel?
i love it.
i wish i knew how to do this type stuff.
i have been reading up on what to do,but don't have any of the machinery.

This is high end stuff, my friend. The machinery may help skim some time off the project but having the talent and putting in the time needed is not for sale at any price.

ive got plenty of time, and some of the talent.
the machinery is what i will be never be able to afford.
i would love to have a forge, but will probably buy my blade steel already
finished.
if i ever forge it will be most likely random.
not that talented,

Yes, JD Jerry makes all his own steel. This is actually one of his more difficult damascus patterns.

You can select my collection link below and see quite a few of his knives and damascus patterns.

No offense meant, friend. Take your time and use your files, the end product will result from within. Picasso had talent too but he put a lot of time in before he made any masterpieces...

Jose,

Your mentioning Picasso reminded me of a woderful saying of his:

"There are painters who transform the sun to a yellow spot, but there
are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence, transform
a yellow spot into the sun"
.Pablo Picasso

No offence meant here as well, JD

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)
