It is just arrived :) I've ordered it from a kiln factory, it was pretty expensive to make this custom kiln but what do I care ? It has a good insulation and suspension sliding door. 1200 C in 45 mins :D
size: 11 cm X 11 cm X 45 cm interior. (5"X5"X18")

I was using a huge pottery kiln to HT.

how much did it cost you exzactley? looks very nice. what does it pull for power.

It was about 2000 USD. You should consider that in my Country (Turkey) there are no pre-made small HT Kilns ready to use, of course there was some for 1000 dollars but they were just crap. Nothing like Evenheat or Paragon available. If it isnt fabricated for mass production it costs about twice.

220 Volt - The electric consumption is 2.2 KW. About 5 times less than my previous pottery kiln (which was 11KW)..

It looks very nice. it should get the job done. if im ever in turkey and need to heat treat somthing i know where to go :D

I just found out that Olympic Kilns is about a mile from my work. They've got soemthing thats close, but I want a smaller interior. I'm going to see if they'll make one for knifemakers.

Fiddleback Let us know what you find out!! I get to
Hotlanta with some regularity

I will. They have a kiln that will do the trick now. 1250 out the door with programmable controller and everything. But its like 11" x 12" x 14.5 deep.

Thats way more room than I need.
