I just picked this up on the fs forum. Ive never owned a Laconico but cant stop wanting one. I hope this will come in handy in deer camp. From everything Ive read, you just cant wrong w/ any of his blades. Hope u enjoy the pics. If anyone out there has one of his folders please add your comments.

I saw that snag. Very nice. That one will be a real sweet user. I also have never owned one of his, but love just about everything he produces. He does not seem to sell too many folders, so that was a nice snag. That one looks like a very very handy blade shape. I think that he is selling very nice knives, and I think that they are a great deal also. His don't last very long on the exchange at all.

Man...You lucky dog. I saw that one but it was sold already. I wish I wouldve had the dough to buy it when Ray offered it to me. I have only seen 2 of these around.

Ray doesn\'t make many folders and that was one of his coolest. Nice score. You will be very very pleased with Ray\'s work. His has a style all his own coupled with great fit and finish. He also has a nack for achieving great edge geometry (his tall flat grinds and polished convex edges make even the thickest steel cut well).

I have 9 Laconicos at this point (all users), but they are all fixed blades! I need to get a folder from him soon. Maybe after the next version of the HWK that he and I are working on now...

Thanks guys. I've only sold four folders so far and that was the fourth. They're fun to make but definately more difficult and time consuming than fixed blades.

I've seen ray's work in person and it looks just as good as in the pictures. Can't wait for min!
