My New Lochsa

Scott, Congratulations on the Award, the knife is just stunning. When you consider the competition in Las Vegas you should be doubly proud!

Yes.., I was lucky enough to see that knife in person in Las Vegas.., gorgeous knife! I wish I could have got a folder also.., but I had to have the Camas Boot Dagger! Incredibly beautiful profile..., and Snakewood!

Congratulations on the award Scott.., terrific knife!

Mr. Cook,

That's a great looking knife. Congratulations on your award at the LVCKS, your creations for cutlery are outstanding.

When you look at the Lochsa folder, one cant help but see the obvious Chris Reeve Sebenza influence, and i was wondering how CR feels about it. I believe i read that Scott worked there for a while, so i would be interested to hear what Chris feels/thinks about it. Heck, he may be flattered, im just curious.

Also, i'm in no way bashing Scott, i own a Lg. damascus/snakewood hunter of his that i absolutely love, im just curious how this sort of thing plays out in the real world. And i do agree that the Lochsa is sufficiently different from the Sebenza that it shouldnt be considered a knock off by any stretch, and yet, again, there clearly is some Sebenza in it.

Beautiful knife, Scott.

You are one lucky man. Nice to have a brother like that, isn't it? :)

Brad, great story. :) I've got 2 brothers of my own so know what the competition is like.....

I have 4 of Scott's fixed blade knives and the #11 Lochsa folder. 11 has a nice symmetrical look to it. 11, it's like 2 number 1's side by side. :)
