My new Mnandi w/Mammoth Ivory Bark

It has arrived. I ordered this from TNK on Sunday and here it is already. It is a beauty. When I talked to Neil from TNK he told me that this was old inventory that was misplaced. Born on 11/24/2008. The bark is smooth as glass and looks better in person than the picture. I'm a mammoth bark collector so it doesn't get much better than old mammoth bark for me.

I ordered mine yesterday from Neil and can't wait for it to arrive. Apparently mine was miplaced inventory as well. How could you possibly misplace something so beautiful.
 
All of those Mnandi's listed on the TNK website are S30V steel, so my guess the the entire bunch that are listed are old inventory. Wow what a find. That is really cool since new mammoth bark is so hard to get. I was told by Neil at TNK that mammoth bark is really hard to work with without breaking it.
