I sent three Barkies to Mike Stewart for mods and I really miss them so I just had to buy a few more to make up. Here is my new Fox Rover in birds eye maple with mosaic pins, and new micro tusk. This time I also bought a dropper for the sheath, rides about three inches lower. Much more comfortable on the belt now.

Now throw in a nice hand axe and voila, a nice modern nessmuk trio

This axe is one of my favorites. It bites really deep. This is a light swing into a frozen maple tree.

I'm taking this set out over the weekend to give it a proper review.

I like the shape of the ax. It looks like you added cord so you can grip the ax under the cut out and use if for detailed work.

Great pics! I loike the look of that axe.

Your shots of the Fox River makes me want to start using mine again. It is a great knife.

Yeah, the cord wrap lets me use that axe very effectively to skin deer. I used the axe to skin one doe last season that a friend shot when I got skunked. The edges above and below the cutting edge have been rounded so I can also use the axe as a draw knife. Great little belt axe. They are only $100 from AGrussel. I also ordered one of the new Bark River Axes, should get it in a week or so.
