What I thought would be just a short little project turned into wellllll 5 hrs. And I don't even need it. I have a real 125# and a small one. But this old dead piece was sitting there and I thought what the heck. Anyway it turned out ok, milled a flat on top. It does not have the bounce test that my real one has but I can find some use for it, maybe. Any how here is a couple pics. It weighs close to 25#

Looks good - I made a similar one from RR rail for sizing horse shoes way back when I was had horses. Now it works really good for small stuff. Sits on the bench inside while the big anvil is outside for the forge.

Good job!

I started with one and it sort of work. Then got a 149 lb Peter Wright.
Makes a good little bench anvil, but not near enough mass for forging.
