My New Para-military 2 Camo

Hello......Got my Camo/Black PM2 today. I really like this knife. I was surprised to see that the pivot screws and the screws on the scales, and the lanyard hole were all black. I have heard a few gripes about the screws being silver in some of the reviews that I have read and all of the photos I have seen were with silver hardware. Did Spyderco make a change with the hardware color?
Mine came with black hardware, great knife.

Mine came with silver hardware/black clip. Came silky smooth out of the box. I'll be buying the CTS-204P version when it's available.

Right now my Paramilitary 2 digicam is one of my top 5 favorite knives. Excellent choice my friend.

I also just got my first Para 2 Camo Satin blade. Love this thing. It's a keeper for sure.

I just picked up an all black Para 2 last week. Not Camo but it did come with all black hardware. Butter smooth after about 100 openings. I'm really liking this knife and it has kicked my Chris Reeve Insingo out of my pocket for now. No blade movement in any direction when locked. Detent is perfect. I had an older version of the Para (not the Para 2) which I sold because the detent was weaker than I would have liked.

Just wanted to do a quick update.

I have had my Para-military 2 for almost 6 months now and I still love it. It has literally been in my pocket every day (give or take a few times where my delica 4 needed some attention). It has been used pretty well, nothing too hard except I did drop it on tile a month ago. The G-10 is fine, just a little blemish; more cosmetically than anything. The knife is still going strong and to date is my favorite knife still. I do use it often with cutting tasks and I still haven't had the need to sharpen it yet. I have only stroped it twice; its edge is still scary sharp. The tiny bit of side to side blade play/movement (which I have touched on earlier in this thread) hasn't become any worse, it actually has improved slightly. The blade's tip is fairing very well and their are no chips, dings or noticeable burs on the edge; I really am impressed in how the knife is holding up. Other than a few scratches on the blade and handles it looks brand new.

The blade still flips open with lightening speed and has that same old "thwack" lockup sound; the detente is still strong (I don't worry about it opening on me). I want to also note that the blade is still centered, almost perfectly and there is no blade play when it is in the handle. The compression lock has broken in nicely and is nice a smooth. It locks up right in the middle and still feels solid, I really don't worry about it failing on me.

I really am impressed with this knife, it is easily worth the $106 or so dollars I paid. I highly suggest that everyone has at least one Pm2 in their collection. Anyone that has questions or wants to share pictures please feel free. :D
