Monday I got a cpm-D2 para-military. I was pretty impressed by it, the G10 was nice and grippy, good ergos, sharp as heck out of the box, easy one hand opening and shutting, and it rides good in the pocket. On Tuesday I took it outside for some yard work and it handled the abuse pretty well no scratches or chips, I removed all stains on the blade pretty easily with a tuff cloth, and all the opening and closing I did didn't effect the lock what so ever, still that same loud reassuring click. Today I just basically used it for normaly every day task like opening bags of chips and cutting cord. Im pretty impressed with the edge retion, still as sharp as out of the box, and it rides so well in the pocket I sometimes forget its there. I would recommend it to anyone, good job spyderco:thumbup:

I'm in the same boat as you. I picked it up on Saturday and its been riding in my pocket ever since. I'm not one for tip down and I converted it to tip up, but after a day, I changed it back. Somthing about grabbing it out and doing a spydie drop just plain works. I just wish it had a clip that allowed it to sit lower in the pocket. I'll be sending it off to STR soon for a new low rider clip mod...but I want to play with it a bit more.

Oh btw...it bit me today..so I'm happy that its offically mine! ;)

I got one and just had to get another because they are a sprint run. They are great little lightweight powerhouses!

Love mine as well.

Though its current location is unknown. :(

I got a pretty good idea where its at though.

Heh. found mine today. :)
Its like a new knife again. Only good thing about loosing something.

Not much, I lost alot of my addiction to paintball (not all of it ;)) when my money started driftin away from speedball markers and gears to knives. Not to mention paintball will eat away a paycheck like nothing else. 10-15 entry fee 40$ for 1000 paintballs and most speedball markers can shoot 15bps+ (balls per second) and you basically end up shooting a whole case(1000 paintballs) in less then an hour. Then you have to replace what ever broke on your marker, 'cause the "better" the marker the more fragile it will be and not to mention gas money to get there. .........Its all worh it tough.

p.s. marker= paintball gun

I played for years but decided to quit spending all my money in one spot. Started filming and what not and actually made a DVD while I was doing the KillBuzz Productions. Pretty damn good too. Still have a lot though. Should sell them. lulz.
Im THE_INCREDIBLE_BULK on PbN btw.

nice, you ever try any woodsball scenario games?

I started out as a die hard speedballer ended up going to a scenario game and had a great time, now I end up attending about 3-4 a year and play some woodsball games from time to time.

I started out with a little woods but progressed into full time tournament speedball.

I had thought about going to D Day in Oklahoma but I haven't gone yet. I'd really like to go even if I didn't play, sounds like a hell of a time.

I love the atmospere at woodsball events.

that and there is nothing more frightening in the sport of paintball then a paintball tank,(that or realizing the batteries in your marker is dead )

How many foilage green cpm-d2 Para's were made?

What does sprint run mean?

I found one on eBay but they want $130

Awesome thx, i'm going to pick one up

So does that mean 1200 will be made and then no more?
