My New Pattern

Hey all, well I did a little more pattern development the past week and now have Rev B and C. I tried to work on symetry on this billet. Anyway here they are, let me know what you think. Especially take a look at the last picture, I think It is kinda neet.

I like C the best.

Can you get it to go from a dark colored X to a light colored X then dark then light and so on?

See what I mean how the pattern of light and dark X's is sort of random.

It's way cool though. I like it alot.

Defenatly cool, I think I like Rev C best too, now you need to finish a couple of knives from the steel.

I think they're both very cool. Looks like you've got the damascus gig down pat. It's great that your going after different patterns and doing some experimenting. Someday, when the kids are a bit older and I have the time.........yeah, right!

great work, i like c as well, the vee grind reakky seems to bring out the pattern. have you thought of selling damascus billets for us stock removal guys?

Hey thanks guys for your replies. I still don't know what to call it or when i am going to start making knives from them. I have a couple more variations that I want to try first.

bvmjethead - I dont think I can control the colors of the stars. I would like to be able to, but I aint that good...

RHINOKNIVES - I am not opposed to selling billets. I have sold one before and traded one. Shoot me an email if you are interested.
