My New Potbelly

Damn Xr you need to get your LLC and start making some cash. That's nice looking Brother!!!!!
:p:p That's not going to happen, but Thanks Tanker :D. It's definitely a learning experience and makes me appreciate the sheaths I've bought :p

Ok, I know I said I would take a purchasing hiatus, but this caught my eye yesterday.

I really like the .25 thickness. I just have one concern based on a review from another member. He loved this knife and really worked it hard but ultimately it broke on the thin section of the blade. He had been concerned about it initially too. He also batoned with it. I wouldn’t.

Xr6x, what’s your take on that. Fluke? Used it incorrectly? Should I have reservations?

My take is shit happens  who knows? I would like to think the Knife should be able to baton and chop wood no problem. I've chopped and batoned with mine some and it seems fine and I don't worry about it braking , but I haven't come close to using it like the guy I think you are referring to . He used the hell out it :D. It's a shame it broke I think he loved that knife! KaBar has made a change to the Potbelly since that Knife failure I believe from a hollow grind to a flat grind . I don't think that is why the change came about just saying the knife has had a little change . You just never know sometimes things go wrong now and than. ;)
