Well, I bought a Power Plier just recently and just thought I would let you guys know what I think of it.

The good:

Very rugged and stout design--Strong as a bull.
Great selection of tools.
Compound leverage is simply awesome and pure genius.

The bad:

While the compound leverage is great, the handle does dig in to my palms some.
The tools clumping together is somewhat annoying.
The pouch that came with it is'nt the strongest I've seen.

But the worse thing about the Power Plier is the woodsaw!
I must say that it will eventually chew through some wood but it takes alot of time. The SOG woodsaw can't keep up with my Victorinox SAK, Wenger SAK, or my Gerber Pro-Scout (equipped with a Sears Craftsman jigsaw blade).

I'm not just "bashing" the Power Plier. Overall, I think it's a well thought out multitool and very well made. But the woodsaw just needs more work.

Good luck,
Allen.

The PowerLock takes care of the handle biting problem with the "wings"...:D
Also, there are different generations of woodsaws. My first one didn't work too well either, but I ordered a new one, which was a little thicker, and certainly worked better...
It's a thought...
