My new seb came scratched!

I'm sure the scratch could be eased, if it's in the in-lay. Your problem can be rectified. It shouldn't have been that way!

Of course - some problems with a new CRK - and, especially your first CRK - are not quite so obvious - but insidious nonetheless. Of course, I am speaking of the jaded view they produce for other knives. That ZT-301 - or Buck Custom Shop 110 - or that favored Benchmade Skirmish - they all look like cheesy knives at a truck stop checkout by comparison, after that first CRK.

Then there is the dreaming of the 'next' CRK... and the picking up cans and bottles on the interstate to raise funds. Panhandling at intersections with the 'Please help... Sebenza-less!' sign. Maybe I should add that I am a veteran?

Sorry that your enjoyment wasn't at 100% or better. My 'StarTac' Umnumzaan wasn't either - it's well over 100%!

i ve thought about it and im just gonna deal with it and use it as it will prob get a few more scratches anyway! I must say though that both CR and knivesshipfree.com handled this very well!! Knivesshipfree offered to exchange it or give me a store credit toward something else! And CR said if they didnt handle it that they would have! Cheers to both companies! Very professional!! So do bus with both companies as they clearly stand behind what they re putting out! thankx to all!

Glad it worked out well.

Remind me the next time you purchase something from my store and I'll get you a discount just to smooth over your scratch! :)

I would put it in my pocket and use it.

What else are you going to do? Send it back, receive a new knife, and then proceed to carry it and scratch it again? Seems redundant to me.

I completely agree I'm a firm believer of using anything I buy, it probably was on display and handled by some people and hence the scratch. However, it is a knife and knives are meant to be used and scratches will happen.
