My New Sebenza + Question About Spa Treatment for Wood Inlaid Models

I carry a wood inlay everyday it's not raining and living in Texas that's basically everyday. The edge is where I see most of the wear since I don't use a pocket slip. Holding it in hand I hardly notice any marks unless really looking for them.

In my experience the wood keeps the metal from getting too scratched up, similar to what another poster stated. With that being said, you should check out the well worn CRK thread because it might change your mind about sending one ever in!

I
The others will show wear also. They can be refurbished, but the wear will be there between refurbishings. The wood inlay will not be that scratched up(very fine scratches) if you keep it separated from other items in your pocket or use the leather sleeve.
Just trying to give you the info-your knife, your decision.
I understand..but the material on the back of mine(where the pocket clip is) is the material the standard sebenzas are made of all around the handles. And that material didn't scratch easily. Reflective polished titanium scratches very easily. Ultimately, the fact that I can remove damage to my knife over time is a better option than not having that ability. Some people really like it when their knife looks like someone drug it over concrete for mile. I'm just not one of those people. I cut with my knife, not throw it around. And with this version.. My fingernail scratched it. So that not acceptable without a Spa option.
