I simply love my new toy - how do you like it?

That's a fine looking knife! Congratulations.

Ausgezeichnet ! I love it. Great shape for both blade and handle. I guess it perfectly fits the hand...

Einfach Top! Wie nicht anders vom Wieland gewohnt! Die Härtelinie ist klasse!

Simply Top! As always from Wieland!:D

I like this knife a lot .... how is his English? I may have to make contact with him!

I LOVE everything but the screw cap. The entire knife is clean and simple, and then the cap is confusingly busy and random.

That said, it's interesting anyway. Others would find that most appealing.

Nice acquisition. Thanks for posting.

Thanks a lot for all your kind words, guys!

Coop, that butt cap was done to my special request. ;)
At first, he sculptured his makers mark to it because he didn`t want to disturb the lines in the blade or in the wood and the second was my demand for a bottle opener as (beeing non smoker without any lighter) I`m used to open my (beer-) bottles with my knives.
And having the opener function at the end of the knife there`s less chance to be hurt by the cutting edge. :)

You see, he`s absolutely innocent! My fault, if any. ;) :D

Anyway, thanks a lot for your kind words, Sir!

Greetings Wolfgang and Gerhard,

Absolutely beautiful, stunning work. If I may ask, how long was Gerhard's lead time for your knife?

Wolfgang,

OK. Now that I actually looked at his site and see that this sculpture is a viking ship and a moon (of sorts) as his mark, I understand and retract my unknowing statement. :foot:

The bottle opener is cool. Unless I am educated, I come off as a buffoon.... :p ;) It happens often.

Congrats again. :D

Great looking knife. Love the wood and blade shape.

Why do you refer to it as a "semi integral" instead of an integral?

Thanks, Richard.

I ordered it ~ 8 or 9 months ago.
But he told me then that he`s really busy and it would take that long and that was absolutely ok with me `cause I was not in a hurry and still had knives enough for cutting. ;):D:D

BTW thanks a lot everybody for your kind words!
