OK. Now that I actually looked at his site and see that this sculpture is a viking ship and a moon (of sorts) as his mark, I understand and retract my unknowing statement. :foot:

The bottle opener is cool. Unless I am educated, I come off as a buffoon.... :thumbup: It happens often.

Just to give you an idea what to expect when ordering with Gerhard

(Besides the awesome photo doku during the making!!!)

A very securely packed parcel with your "gem" wrapped in thick soft leather with his makers mark burned in!

Makers mark also put to the sheath (sorry, the finger print on sheath is from my oily fingers )

Absolutely love her, feels very comfortable in hand and handling is excellent!

With it`s pretty thin blade which I ordered it cuts like hell and is a real pleasure to use!

Steel is 1.2833 ( 100V1 )- similar to 1.1545 or in USA known as W2

Many, many thanks to Gerhard for such a superb knife! :thumbup:


BTW his makers mark is also sculptured to the butt end of the knife and is part of the bottle opener which works great!!!
