My new shop... or where I have been the last few weeks.

Congrats on the new shop. I ashamedly admit that I've not checked out your knives before. Now that I have, I can honestly say that you make about the best looking fixed blades I've seen! I'm definitely keeping an eye out for your work once you're up and running.

Great place to work. Little bit dark, but some luminiscent lamps will make it very comfortable.

If you can paint the walls and ceiling white, it will brighten up considerably.

Our dump has a recycling program where you can pickup unused paint free. See what you can find in your area.

That is a great looking shop with alot of potential. What do you plan to do for heat in the winter months?

If the knives you were making were in the old shop, I can't wait to see what comes out of the new shop. I absolutely love your knives and hope to own a couple some day. Keep up the great work, you are an inspiration to others.

Thanks guys. I say again that it is because of people who like my knives that I was able to even think about getting a new house. We are closer to family, closer to work, and of course I have a great shop. My press is still at my friend's house. Fortunately, his house is literally across the street.

I have enjoyed looking at your knives. might a giveaway be in order? or, at least, something extra special on the exchange?

Congratulations Matt, that has got to be a great feeling. Can't wait to see some knives come out of there, and sorry about the head. I have a habbit of wearing a baseball hat and it hides many a low ceiling from view *Bonk*

Thanks for sharing.

I really like that shop. Very nice.

Very cool!!! Being in the exact same boat right now, I know how awesome it feels :)

I also understand that rather than a give away being in order, knife maker mortgage payment donations has a much better ring to it!!! ;) :D

Congratulations Matt! Nice shop sounds like a very good move. Maybe you need to wear a hard hat so you don't have a permanent bump on your head. ;) The thanks goes both ways.
Greg
