Looks sweet JT. Get a tie rack or coat rack from Walmart or something and hang those belts up.

Is that a home made anvil? I don't think I've seen that before. (granted I'm no bladesmith).

How is the ventilation?

looks good wish I had that much room, and I wish I had one of those big soda fountain drinks right now to. HAHAHA

Nice setup

I love your belt sander! How much did it cost you for supplies to make it, and where could I find plans for something similar? (I especially like the movable piece to have either a flat grind or the wheel available)

And for your belts, just have a board on the wall with about 3 inches of curved nails sticking out. It's a good temporary solution at least.

Nice looking setup there JT. I know you will like all the room in the new shop. I am happy for you because you needed that for a long time, and now you have it.:D

You got a LOT of space there, ya lucky so-and-so.

Don't worry, all that space will fill up quick ;)

Nice shop!

I forgot you were piping your gas straight into the fan. Man that gives me the heebeegeebies.

Nice shop. I'm jealous.

the forge has the shame shape and size as mine looks good . I will not be able to use mine for at least 4 weeks i have some ceramic blanket coming to finish it off.

Ya i dont think it will take 6 weeks to fill as i allready have the stuff to pack it. i just am tired of having a clutterd packed knife area. i want space to move around in and beable to leave things set up. my boss said i could use more space if i needed it. but for now it's perfect. i need to make a new disk for my disk grinder as that one is to heavy and will pop an 20 amp breaker on start up ;) i love it for flat sanding handle slabs. yes i did make the anvil. it comes in at over 300 pounds.

That's a nice space JT! It won't take you long to fill it up though, especially at the rate you make stuff. ;) Nice NWG too. First picture I've seen of one. I like your wheel setup. Great forge and anvil. I'm jealous. Now get making some knives! But don't spend all your time there or at work, or you'll be in the dog house for sure. No need to ask why I say that, is there. Have fun and keep it going!

lately i have been spending more time making tools for my shop then i have been knives ;)

I don't see a place for "Bubba-doll" Waaaayyyy to clean in there. Ain't nothing getting done but air circulated :p

Congrats JT, that looks like a great place to spend some time working on a few blades. I am happy for you.

Hey thats sweet! You boss let you have the space to set this up? Sweet!
