Just thought i would post my new Survival light,Here was my thought, after looking around i found a neet little light from a place called ExtremeBeam Tactical and wanted some more info on there lights,After talking with there sales rep Jim,and what i was looking for,He sold me on there SAR5,which is the little light in the pic,it came with two rechargeable 123 battery, and the charger to go with it kit,He also told me about another kit that has 4 rechargeable 123 batterys and a charger that will plug in to the house or car.So my thought was how about plugging the charger into one of those solar panels for backpacking? Some say they charge phones, lab tops ect.I thought that would be perfect, for camping or boating or survival.ithe charger fits into my 1010 pelican case tight,im thinking of getting the 1020,and putting it all in there. The case fit into my everday gear bag,and i can even add some gear in the case with it.The light is SUPER BRIGHT,I lot better than my stream light scorpion,as you can see in the pic! Extremebeam on the left and stream light on the right,I held them about 3ft above the table.
