Just a few ordinary iPhone shots. I'm actually going to carry this baby :D This model is the best Military I have ever owned as far as I'm concerned. The action is amazing, lockup is superb, the lockbar releases super smooth and the profile in the hand is just perfect for me. I didn't think I'd pursue one of these but when I saw this thing in a B&B store in San Francisco and handled her, it was a done deal. I had to pay $280 but they were asking $480 at first so I'm good - well worth the price I paid! Well done Spyderco!

I have heard people complain about the weight...is it really that bad or barely noticable?

It doesn't feel close to the advertised weight to me. It's very slim in the hand too. The weight is a non-factor to me . . . In fact, I never gave the weight any thought until you mentioned it. It's so well balanced too.

I want to pick one of these up, but the hype about the weight had me second guessing...I probably should have known better. I will add it to my list of "gotta have" knives. (The weight doesn't really bother me, I just didn't want a military that doesn't carry like the 3 I have now.)

I collect Military's, and this, along with the carbon fiber S90V Military, is my grail knife. I'm jealous, especially at the price you nabbed it at.

Dude I'm jealous, I have been trying to score one of these for a while but no luck. I carry the regular titanium military very often so I'm dying to see what this one feels like.

did you do the flame trick to get the colors or does it come that way? Beautiful.

Would love to get my hands on the lock side scale to put on my g10/Ti military :D

It comes that way. That's probably a first production run. These have been back ordered for a year or so.

Dayum. That is one fine looking Millie. Congrats on the score, man!

I don't know how accurate the info on the Spyderco website is, but if it's correct, the fluted TI C36 is a lot lighter than the non-fluted TI C36.

The non-fluted Ti Military weighs 162gm. The plastic Military weighs 118gm. I would be interested to know where the fluted Ti Military drops on the continuum. My guess is that it would be much closer to the former than the latter.

5.8 vs. 5.1 vs. 4.25 oz. per the Spyderco website. The fluted Ti is just over halfway between the all-Ti and the regular G10.

That sure is one pretty Millie there, Reeek....congrats!!!

Those figures from Spyderco put the fluted Ti Military in the same weight range as the hybrid Military. The 1/2 Ti X1/2 plastic Miltary weighs 140 gm. The fluted job weighs 145 gm. or about 0.8 oz. less than the regular Ti Military. This represents about a 10% weight reduction by adding flutes.
