My new-to-me large Inkosi with black micarta inlays

Great blade man, I wouldn't mind if you showed more pictures either. ;)

I had to choose and got the Plain LG Inkosi

God, my wife would kill me but I really want another one in micarta hahaha

It's a sickness guys.:D

What's worse is that it's difficult to articulate why CRK is so great until you get one in your hand and use one.

Ain't nothing wrong with a plain Inkosi or an inlaid!

I would be extremely grateful. As I'm sure many others would be!

That was my completely uninformed guess as well, and turns out it's the general consensus. We should know for sure soon enough.

Yes- It's a transition break :)

After putting a sweet, scary sharp edge on my Inkosi on Wednesday, I put her through the paces today at my Aunt's horse property. Cut a bunch of old tarps off the hay barn (and re-hung new ones), cut a ton of plastic hay bale twine (seen in the pics), and shaved the top off a door that wasn't closing properly in the barn.

After all that, the edge still shaves, though with some effort. Still cuts printer paper cleanly, but newsprint is a little work to cut smooth. Not bad. Only a few steels I have would have done much better, but they're either more brittle (S110V, Maxamet) or less corrosion resistant (CPM-M4). I'd like to see similarly hardened M390 here, that might be better overall, but hard to say.

Anyway, I'm impressed overall. The Inkosi is no slouch, despite being a looker! ;)

Now, avert ye eyes, this isn't going to be pretty...

I probably just lost $100 - $150 in resale value, huh? :D :foot:

Looking good Jared!

Thanks for putting those pics in the pics only thread..great shots!

Great knife, SpyderPhreak! I just picked up my first Inkosi today. I was blown away by Cjw's pics of his natural Micarta pair and just loved the inlays on my large 21 Insingo. I was casting about for a knife like his and kinda stepped it in last week. Inside of 24 hrs I shot pics of my Hinderer Sparrow, posted it on the Exchange, sold it in a few hours, and found and bought this baby brand new here on the CRK Exchange. I'm plastering pics all over BF tonight as I'm just blown away by this knife!

It's just a perfect specimen and it's going to be a battle to make myself pocket and use it.

Love the pics from the farm. I really need to get mine back so I can contribute.
