Well I'm realy excited because I finally brought my hammer home. I still need to wire my shop and pour the foundation so it will be a few weeks until the hammer is running.

Fairbanks 150lb hammer from the late 1800s with a 5hp repulsion induction motor. :D The hammer is in amazing shape, the saw block is stuck but fixing that should only take an hour.

What a great find! Post how it works once you get it up and running. That should be a really sweet hammer.
 
Dan, that is bitchin'!!!! Should be a easy thing to break down all that bloom once it is up and running :D.

Yup! I don't think a 25 kilo bloom could feed this beast's appetite, guess we will just have to weld up some damascus too when you come up. :D
