Made myself a Christmas tree of sorts. Got tired of having my tooling arms for the KMG scattered here-and-there. This is probably all Santa is going to bring me 'cause my wife said I have been a bad boy.:D

Great job. Wish I was able to weld I would have made my own. Santa is bringing me one from Beaumont.

Nice tree, should add room in the shop instead of taking up all the space. Did you ever get your table tops topped off with the G-11?

If you've been that bad maybe she'll bring you a good spanking..

err, did I say that out loud?

Jim,

I have one table top finished so far. There are just not enough hours in the day. About the time I think I am caught up, I get more orders (which is a good thing). I hope you and yours have a wonderful Christmas and I am proud to call you a friend.

When I am bad enough, she doesn't spank.......... She knocks me upside the head with a 2X4.:D

Tracy Mickly made one of these trees for me a couple of years ago. Best little gizmo I have in my shop. It's close to my KMG (3 ft.), and very easy to use. Hey Tracy, I don't remember what kind of deal we were working on, but I don't remember paying for that tree??? Let me know what I O U. Robert your version looks really good. Tracy made mine to where the bar slots are horizontal, and not angled. It works better for me to just pull the arms out instead of pulling and lifting, although either works equally well.

Robert,

Send me one of those trees and I will put in a good word for getting you off the "bad" list!!:D Bill

Bill,

Its in the mail in a small envelope. When it arrives, just add water (not too much), and it will grow into a nice tree.

As far as getting me off the bad list......... Don't even try. Nixon tried, Ford tried, Carter tried, Roland Reagoson tried, Bush Sr. tried, Slick Willie lied, I mean tried, and GW has done his best, but Mama don't believe none of them. She says "Once on the bad list........ always on the bad list.:D

Merry-Trimmus to you and all those yanks north of Birmingham.

Nice job Robert! Is it stainless?

I accidentally got one from Rob when I bought my first KMG (I didn't realize it was part of the package I ordered at Blade, lol) :) It's nice to have though!

Now with 2 KMG's... I'm close to being in need of another. For now, I can keep 3 arms in the tree, and one in each machine... But when I get those new contact wheels I'm going to be in trouble... So can you send me one of those Chia-KMG-Tree envelopes too Robert??? :D

good work! I need to seriously clean up before even thinking of getting this organised ;):D

I think perhaps your wife could make some nunchucks out of the tooling arms to whoop ya, that might straighten ya out. :D Course could be just a waste of good tooling arms and effort too.

That's way cool. I really am getting an urge to build a KMG clone so I can have cool stuff like this in the shop. With the BK I just got a milk crate with junk in it and some hex keys on the peg board.

Not stainless Nick. Made from galvanized tubing like they use on those little pre-fab car ports.

Check your mail. I sent you one like I sent Bill. Hope it doesn't get wet before you get it.:D

Thanks guys.......... A man can never have too many toys.

Robert

Thanks Robert! :D

It did look like galvanized more than ss, but I didn't see any heat discoloration from welding galvanized metal. So I thought maybe you tig'd ss and then wire wheeled it.

All the more impressed now... you must have a lot of tricks up those sleeves Robert! :)

I'm worried the envelope will get wet in transit... ;) we've got over a foot of snow here and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
