My new wheelchair

Jim, I didn't know you were in a chair. It certainly hasn't affected the quality of your work

I'll bet you have to be extra, extra careful with stray sparks and slag.

Pretty cool link you posted

I got a kick out of the kid on the mountain :D The guy that was "chasing" him around seemed a lot more concerned with his safety than the operator ;)

Unbelievable where it was able to go, and a far cry from the clunky chairs of the past. Its really great that people confined to wheelchairs are now able to gain access to places that were, only a few years ago, totally inaccessable.

I'm happy for you Jim :)

Jim,

After watching the video, I'll bet "big air", after a little practice, would be possible with that puppy.
If you go for it; have plenty of pics to show us.:D

Anything is possible with the rite attitude, Fred

You pretty much said it all David, freedom is now closer than it was a few years back. I also might add this has a seat elevator also, and will raise the user another 10 inches from the ground to about eye level with another person.

I will be able to raise my anvil again. :DIt is on a 6" base right now. :p

Funny thing, I had a dream about this chair last night after watching the video. Looks pretty cool, and it was fun in my dream. If the dream holds true, it may have even more fantastical abilities than the website shows :). Just watch out for those front casters, the suspension felt a little loose :D.

Have fun, but be safe. It's anti-fun to have 200+ pounds of chair land on you.

Did that already Nathan. Tried backing over an 8 inch rock and over she went. Getting back up was easy, had the rep there so he picked us both up so we could get on our way again. (Didn't know the rock was there. :thumbdn::thumbdn:)
