I just got it a few hours ago so as far as performance I can't answer. And it is my first WH so I have nothing to really compare it to. Looks beautiful, great finish, by far the sharpest "factory edge" of any of my knives. It feels great in my hand, opens beautiful.
All I can really say at this point is that it may not be the most expensive folder I own, but it is def the new favorite by far.
It is def the plain jane of the WH family, but the quality is definately still there. It has made me a big fan of there knives and I'm looking at expanding my collection to include more of their stuff.
