My new ZT 0630 completely blew my mind today.

I have 2 0620s and a 0630. All 3 didn't have loctite. I know cause I installed a actual Emerson pocketclip in mine. They were tight so be cautious when you do so.

Noted. Thanks. I have an emerson clip off one of my bad monkies i might take off and put on there...The last 3 kershaws I had to send back because of either too much loctite (the thermite and 0562, stripped screws on both) or the cqc-6k (didnt send back but got new screws because the screw on the leftie side was too short)

I checked the screws on my 0630 and they were a breeze to unscrew.

just literally got it and the screws were perfect...tis flipped to the left and ready to carry...GAME ON!

Can't just bought a 0300, I'm on a ZT kick.

thats kind of funny. out of all the knives ive owned ive bought and sold more ZTs than I can count...

ive owned and sold 0350, 0300, 0550 gen 2, 0560 and i currently own a 0562, a 0566 and a 0630. and my current carry as a backup blade is the 0630 with a RAT-1 as my primary.

shandrydan1: Your pivot nut looks screwed way out further than my 0620CF. Is your blade really loose, tight or "normal" with the nut set like that? By "normal" I guess I mean that it flips fairly easily with absolutely no side-to-side play. Many thanks.

^^I think the answer to your question is the fact that the recess for the pivot nut isn't drilled as deep compared to stock. Please also consider that the scale is a aftermarket add on. Also there's the fact that Kirinite is acrylic and can break more easily than G10 or carbonfiber so having that tiny bit more material is beneficial. My $0.02.:)

^^ Thanks! I love it.

To answer the other question about the pivot, the kirinite is thicker than the stock scale which gives it the recessed look. Flips buttery smooth, perfectly centered, with no play in any direction.

I was with my friend when he just purchased his on Friday. Really nice knife, opens easily, he was very impressed. He is a huge ZT and Benchmade collector, but does not own any Emersons. I think this might have opened his eyes to some Emersons.

I tried to get into emersons, great built knives, its just that asymetrical grind that i cant get past...:-(
