My Newest Izula

Calebklyne - You messed me up dude. I took it out after 2 hours and one side was real black and the other was okay. Sanded it off and doing my apple juice patina again - plus dulled my edge - gotta tune that up too! :D

btw - you're right, in just that short time the steel had a faint stink :barf: (right under my nose though) ???

Having fun screwing around with the Izula and haven't cut anything but paper with it yet!! :D

Ahh.... so that's what happened!

I sanded it off and did my other routine. I rub the liquid from raw apple peels on and left it dry, then wash it off.

I did hoopster's potato idea and got some very cool blue tones in it here and there.

Then I repeated with fresh apple again for a few coatings until dry, rinsing it off in between coats, then sealed it up by heating the blade and rubbing Miltec-1 on it and hitting it with the blow dryer.

It looks much better than before. It's fun to see what different substances will do. :D

I have been considering on stripping, convexing and then force a patina on my some what new Izula, all of these beautiful jobs arent helping much!!!!!!

PICS or it didn't happen! :D
