My next AG Russell purchase...

Bob, Boker makes the same knife with red jig bone handles and Boker Tree Brand stamped bolsters. Very sweet action. A.G.'s Working Man's Barlow is listed as made in Germany -- I think Boker is where it's made. They may have other handle treatments as well -- mine is the red bone.
Thanks for the info.

You all know that I am parianoid asbout who makes knives for me. Well with only two makers of slipjoints left in Germany I can hardly deny that Boker made that Barlow.

thanks to all for the boost!

The woodswalker is really cool. Small fixed blade and it is cheap! The featherlites are cool too.

I have personally never bought anything from AG Russell but I've been eyeing a Titanium Frame Lock Sting for sometime now.

SHAME, after all the work we have done and you continue to sit by not doing your part. Have you not listened to the President? Buy, buy, buy. ;)

Thanks, for thinking of us. . . . . A. G.

I've quite happy with this lockback. The VG-10 holds a nice edge. Be careful on the cocobolo scales, though. The first one I got had such mismatched scales that it looked like two different knives, depending on which side you looked at. I sent it back and they did a hand-pick for me and I got one that looked much better (no problem like that of course if you go for the black micarta!)

I really think the AG Funny Folder is a cool knife. I have given them as gifts and everybody likes them. I like to cary mine to work, because it is so unusual. Inexpensive too.

I have AGR's Funny Folder, Sting, Featherlite-One-Hand, and tiny Ti Pen knife...
all great buys, from a great company. You can't go wrong with AGR's warranty and service. :)
