My Next Emerson

Finally some pics. (not very good sorry)
The Horseman is working in well, she is getting real smooth. I love the size and feel a lot. Have been using her pretty good over the last week or so.
And of course, my family so far.

Looks great macknife12! My wife just gave me a horseman today as an early birthday present. (I kept nagging her until she caved lol). It is my first Emerson so I am really enjoying getting to know the knife and enjoying that new Emerson smell lol. Anyway thanks for sharing the pics I would too if I had a camera or a modern cellphone.:thumbup:

Congrats, Gastonian! You mentioned it's your first Emerson -- it's the beginning of a beauuuuutiful friendship! :)

oh man that's never good...the pocket clip of my CQC7 took a little paint off the corner of our twins' changing table when I leaned against it...that put me and "my stupid, precious knife" in the dog house. While I don't agree with her opinion of the knife, I am more aware of my pocket surroundings now...
 
My horseman is the smoothest Emerson I have to date (but also my first one if thats any indicator). In hindsight I probably should have gotten the regular 8.

Not sure i'll be getting another in the near future. Between my 7 and my 10 I don't have much more want. Although I have been eye-ing the Black/Black Roadhouse on bladehq.
 
Journeyman, Horseman and CQC-7 for me. Already got two of the three, can't find a Journeyman anywhere and EKI won't respond to any of my e-mails even though I placed an order with them.

I spoke to Emerson the other day, next Journeyman run is in April.

This is GREAT news, Harley!

Hauling, you will definitely want to get a Journeyman. I was thinking of getting a second one (with this April run) but don't want to be selfish -- I will let someone else enjoy the knife. ;)

They got back to me today and I'm on the list to get one direct from them, they confirmed what harleyguy02 said barring any production issues.
 
So I've owned two different Roadhouses, and a Mini-Roadhouse before in the past... but I've had to let them all go for one reason or another. Been carrying nothing but Emerson lately, so I'm considering another Mini-RH, as the design is just my favorite, aesthetically. That low-slung, katana blade is insanely cool. Now... to find one.
