I got my Northstar back from Simon today. Wow, is it ever sharp! I had buggered up the edge with my amateurish, fumbling attempts at sharpening, and he got it even sharper than it had come from Bark River when new. Now that I have some idea of what I was doing wrong, I ought to be able to maintain the new and improved edge.
